Inbound Customer Service Agent

What will you do as a customer service agent:

As an agent you will provide customer service by taking inbound messages. No calling!

What you will be doing: As a live chat assistant you will be paid to reply to live chat messages on a businesses website or social media accounts. This includes answering customer questions, providing sales links and offering discounts. 

Qualifications:

  • An ability to connect with customers, and offer helpful solutions, with empathy
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to speak on the phone while using a computer
  • Preference for a flexible schedule
  • Work well independently

Responsibilities:

  • Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
  • Prospect and contact potential customers
  • Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
  • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
  • Create sales material to present to customers

 

Contract length: No fixed term

Rate: $25 – $35 per hour

Skills/background needed: Must have a device able to access social media and website chat functions (Phone/Tablet/Laptop). Be able to work independently. Ability to closely follow provided steps and instructions. Have 5+ hours availability per week. Reliable internet connection.

Hours per week: 5 – 40 hours a week

Location: Remote work online (United States preferred).
